If you’ve ever screwed something into a wall, wether it be drywall or plaster, you know how messy it can be with all the dust falling on the floor. So when I was installing a French cleat on the wall for my latest project (a banquette bench with an upholstered back panel), I decided to try an easy trick I had seen on Pinterest to keep my floor dust-free: folding a post-it note in half and sticking it under the place where the screw goes in.
The folded post-it note worked like a charm, catching the majority of the dust. This is definitely something I’ll be doing from now on!
I like that. Thanks
What a great tip…..I, of course, am putting it to work today.
